David Lee Myers is a sound and visual artist living in New York City. He has produced music based on feedback principles since 1987, using his unique "feedback machines". As "Arcane Device", and more recently under his own name, Myers has had over twenty recordings released by
international labels such as Line Records, ReR, Pogus, Silent, RRRecords, Staalplaat, Korm Plastics, Disc-Bruit, Generator, and many others.
Collaborations have included four CDs—DBL_FDBK, SPEISELEITUNG, FLUSSDICHTE, and 60:00—with Hamburg's Asmus Tietchens, POND and BIJOU with legendary electronic music pioneer Tod Dockstader, and TWO SHIPS with Boston composer Ellen Band. UNCERTAIN SYMMETRY with Thomas Dimuzio appeared in 2002 and TRACERS with Belgian musician VidnaObmana was released on the Klanggalerie label in 2003.
In 2008 the double CD set DEVICES 1987-2007 was issued by the Russian label Monochrome Vision.

Myers has performed Feedback Music concerts throughout the
Northeastern US and Europe at venues such as The Kitchen, Roulette, Performing Garage, White Columns, Experimental Intermedia, The Clocktower, Knitting Factory, Tonic, and CBGB's (New York), the Institute for Contemporary Art in Boston, Copenhagen's Xtreme Festival, and the Galerie Abriss in Hamburg.
