Hey folks, this is our final update of 2007. We will return with new weekly podcasts on January 14th 2008. I'd like to thank everyone for listening to our music and making this a very successful year for this small label with big ambition.

We have on the schedule a number of releases for 2008, including the debuts of the Harmful Free Radicals, and BIOS, a new Painful Leg Injuries podcast boxset and the third Painful Leg Injuries album on OKSRNA.

Hey everyone, there's going to be a brief delay in this week's update, I'm on the road, heading back east for the holidays. I will post the podcasts as soon as possible, apologies for the delay.

El Plan De Aguavodka's latest podcast is an awesome sci-fi miniature called States And Empires of the Moon and Sun. It reminds me a bit of the UK's Hauntology scene. Alex Spalding's Untitled: Still Untitled is an electroacoustic composition of thuds and glungs infitely reverberating, great stuff. Little Ricky's House of Chankletas' Watching My Brother Disect A Nap is percussion heavy jazz number that walks a tightrope between becoming very compositional and remaining very abstract, nicely done. Finally the Painful Leg Injuries continue the Ronzi Siciliani Series with The Age of Indulgences, an epic piece where a sampled cathedral pipe drone becomes increasingly erratic and unstable.

Stuck In A Drain Pipe is death trip down the aforementioned means of ridding one's self of excess water, provided by Little Ricky's House of Chankletas. Phantom Limbs El Plan De Aguavodka's latest is a grungy collection of tape errors, like if you left a memo recorder on in your pocket, floating in some abstract ethereal place. Alex Spalding's I Am Lord Of Music: Titular Arraignment could be the entire history of music played back at once on fast forward heavily in the red.

This week also marks the start of a new Painful Leg Injuries Podcast series Ronzi Siciliani.
This series will have three parts, long drone works composed from field recordings I made in Sicily earlier this year. The first is Ghostly Echoes (Just Like My Mother Used To Make), for this I recorded our tour groups conversations and singing and the echoing that occured in the cave in the above photo. Enjoy.
