Update 10/20

I'd like to say thanks to the Maker Faire for having us back this year. This was the first time Suzanne and I performed in a year, and we were glad to be playing in front of an audience again.

When performing abstract electronic music in a live format, it's always hard gauge audience reaction. However, what I can say after having listened to the recording of the set, if you can make a baby cry so loud it gets picked up by the mic, well, you did something right. I will be posting a video and MP3 of the set shortly.

I'd also like to thank Mix 94.7's JB and Sandy for having myself and Sherry Huss from Make on their show on Thursday, here's a link to listen to our interview: Bill from PLI interviewed on JB and Sandy.

Now on to the podcasts, which includes the final episode of the Painful Leg Injuries' Bent Synth Guitar Solos. El Pan De Aguavodka gives us some political criticism through the processing of laptop noise through headphones with Heartbeat Away from Power. Barry Seroff wit the his amazing Unassigned trio deliver another wonderful episode with Old Footage, featuring Daniel Carter and Candiria's Ken Schalk.

No podcasts next week, we will return on November 3rd.

Update 10/13

Welcome back, everyone.

This week, don't miss the Painful Leg Injuries performing live at the Maker Faire at the Travis County Fairgrounds here in Austin TX. Suzanne and I will be performing material from all of our recent releases and new material from our upcoming album The Anomaly That Had Gotten The Better of Me, as well. We will performing on the Maker Stage at 8:30pm.

This week in podcasts, we get an epic jam from Barry Seroff, and his Unassigned trio featuring NYC underground legend, Daniel Carter, and former Candiria drummer Ken Schalk. This episode is Roots. El Plan De Aguavodka's latest is called A Few Words of Advice About Giving Your Opinion and it's another lovely piece of treated Casio VL-1 that sounds like goofy orchestral strings. The Painful Leg Injuries' latest, the fifth episode of their latest series, Bent Synth Guitar Solos.

We will return next week.

Update 10/08

Apologies for the delay this week.

Don't miss the Painful Leg Injuries performing live for the first time in nearly a year Austin, TX's Maker Faire on October 18th, at 8:30 pm on the Maker Stage. The Maker Faire is a great venue and we can't wait to play for all the makers and on-lookers. We're very excited.

The Painful Leg Injuries this week deliver the fourth episode of their current podcast sercies, Bent Synth Guitar Solos, this week. El Plan De Aguavodka's latest podcast is Rehearsal for Stumbling Through Anything Including Tunnels a lovely work of effected Casio keyboards that honestly sounds more like strings. Barry Seroff's awesome series of improv work with the lengendary Daniel Carter and Ken Schalk continues this week with Remnant, don't Ken Schalk's very colorful percussion work in this fine episode.

Be well, until next week.
