Update 2/24

We are back again.

This week begins the 30th Painful Leg Injuries Podcast series with Spoken In (Forked) Tongues. This series is six composition I've made from sampling people speaking tongues off of various web video sources. The first episode is Overcome With The Need For Attention.

Barry Seroff begins an exciting new series this week for his new group, Screwtape. The line-up is Mo Kofuma: vocals, Barry: guitar, Daniel Carter: sax & trumpet, David Dovo: bass, Gerry Tuohy: Drums. A quite impressive ensemble and the first episode The Drink of Life is stellar.

Speaking of stellar, El Plan De Aguavodka's latest is Cristal Radio VIP. Stellar can describe the quality and the content of EPDA's latest work.

Until next week.

Update 2/17

We're back again this week, with our latest podcasts.

First though is some news, check out Don Campau's (host of "No Piegeonholes on KKUP in Cupertino, CA) list of favorites from 2008, you'll see our very own Marco Oppedisano's duo CD with David Lee Myers Tesla at Coney Island. Tesla at Coney Island is available for purchase from CD Baby, to get your copy click here.

Now, El Plan De Aguavodka returns with his latest podcast, Dust on Their Wings. Another gem, this miniature is full of long, beautifully sustained tones.

Barry Seroff concludes his latest series with Wojciech Szebulski (w/NHIC). It's a delightfully swirly blast of cool-ly contained chaos.

The Painful Leg Injuries are also concluding their latest series this week. Wii Ensembles is collection of improviations of Wii-mote controlled circuit bent instruments. The final episode is duet with two Casio keybards, an SK-1 and MT-240. It's called Who Broke The Rehearsal Tape?

Until next week, enjoy.

Our latest podcasts are now posted.

First up, Barry Seroff's latest episode The God Cloud of his series of collaborations with the New Haven Improv Collective has a vibe that lands somewhere between free jazz and a classic rock jam, without the laser light shows.

Next, the Painful Leg Injuries' latest podcast is A Chase Scene, the fifth episode of Wiimote-controlled circuit bent instrument improv. This one features a Gameboy playing Pushpin, my chaotic Casio MT240, and a Yamaha PSS-170. Enjoy.

El Plan De Aguavodka's podcast will return next week.

Take care.

Update 2/3

Welcome back, again, this week's podcasts are now posted.

First up check out El Plan De Agauvodka's latest, a warpped effected pop song called Whatever You Do, Don't Listen (Just Dance). As with the episodes of EPDA's podcast it mixes beautiful tones with an absolutely eerie and frightening atmosphere. Awesome!

Next up is the latest from Barry Seroff, Self Centered is a collaboration with the New Haven Improvisors Collective, and it's lovely guitar piece at it's beginning that will get swallowed by it's surroundings. It's called Self Centered and it's very cool.

Last, is a sci-fi trancey jam from The Painful Leg Injuries with Look Into My Eyes and Relax. This the fourth of the Wii Ensembles series, is a haunted organ jam that I know you'll enjoy.

Until next week.
